Places Matter offers an impartial service to designers, developers and local authorities, through our online Design Review and Building for a Healthy Life assessments. We are the only fully accredited BfHL assessor in the North West of England. As part of our public good mission, we offer some free Design Reviews to eligible community and arts groups. 

Places Matter has been offering Design Review since 2007 and has reviewed nearly 1,000 schemes, with a combined value of more than £6Bn. Our services are delivered with the support of the RIBA, working alongside other professional institutes, and in partnership with the national Design Network.

We are primarily selling Good Condition Neutral Grassland but will also be bringing circa 13 units of hedgerow and a small wetland to the market shortly.  We can also accommodate some small areas of scrub if so required. Cheshire East has asked us to provide a 'small sites' habitat bank and so 10.26 units of neutral grassland is reserved for requirements of less than 2 units.
