Applicants should complete the online application below as comprehensively as they can to provide Trustees with sufficient context and information for their assessment of the application. Documents supporting the application should be provided alongside the application.
Applications will be treated with confidentiality, sensitivity and compassion.
Our Trustees consider each application against the Trust's Guidelines for assessing financial assistance applications. These guidelines are intended to ensure that the Trust’s funds are being deployed effectively, proportionately and sustainably and that there is a consistency of approach to the Trustee's decision making.
The Trust may contact the applicant to seek further information or clarifications as part of its due diligence. This will be done by email, or by phone or through virtual meeting software at an agreed time. The Trust will keep a record of all phone conversations or virtual meetings with applicants.
The provision of financial assistance is entirely at the discretion of the Trustees and decisions are not subject to appeal.
Please note that if an application for financial assistance, or further information subsequently provided by the applicant, gives the Trustees reasonable cause for concern regarding the applicant’s safety or risk of harm, the Designated Safeguarding Lead Trustee may be required to report their concerns to an appropriate statutory agency.
