Save the date: RTPI prepares to launch public awareness campaign

The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is gearing up for its UK-wide public awareness campaign — launching at the start of November, to coincide with World Town Planning Day on 8 November.

The campaign will celebrate the positive impact of planning and the people behind it, championing the message that planning is a force for good.

At its heart, the initiative aims to highlight how planners across the UK are helping to build better, fairer, and more sustainable places for everyone — from unlocking affordable housing and revitalising high streets, to protecting heritage assets and creating green spaces that bring communities together.

The RTPI is calling on all members and partners to mark 8 November in their social media calendars and join in spreading the message. Supporting materials and content will be shared closer to the launch date to help members take part online and in their communities.

Stay tuned for more details — and get ready to show your support for the planning profession this November.
