Self nomination period for all roles starting in January 2027 will open on 19 August 2026 and close on 16 September 2026.

The Committees and Boards in each Nation and English region run a busy programme of social events, continuing professional development, awards judging, and planning for presidential visits. There’s something for everyone!

The RTPI’s Young Planner network is open to professional planners in the first 10 years of post-qualification experience.
Our networking and CPD events are planned and delivered by a local committee. Volunteering on the committee is a great way to gain skills and confidence to help you progress in your career.
