Self nomination for all roles starting in January 2027 will open on 19 August 2026 and close on 16 September 2026.
The Committees and Boards in each nation and English region run a programme of continuing professional development, social and networking events, awards and planning for presidential visits. There’s something for everyone!
Volunteering in your region or nation is a great way to enhance your professional and personal development - all whilst meeting new people, having fun and learning new things.
The RTPI’s Young Planner network is open to professional planners in the first 10 years of post-qualification experience.
Our networking and CPD events are planned and delivered by a local committee. Volunteering on the committee is a great way to gain skills and confidence to help you progress in your career.
