With expertise in low-energy design and heritage-led development, WWA delivers coordinated, planning-led responses to complex UK policy frameworks. Its collaborative approach ensures high-quality outcomes that are commercially viable, socially inclusive, and environmentally resilient, consistently delivered on time and within budget.
WWA Planning has demonstrated excellence across all judging criteria through a well-evidenced and highly professional submission that showcases its ability to deliver complex, socially valuable, and climate-conscious planning outcomes. The judges praised the practice's proactive commitment to professional development, inclusive working cultures, client satisfaction, and engagement with the wider profession, supported by strong case studies and clear evidence of impact.
Particular recognition was given to its leadership in specialist housing projects, inclusive planning, and community engagement, with schemes such as Bulmer House, Stoll Mansions, and Torrington highlighting a pragmatic and collaborative approach to problem-solving in sensitive contexts.
The submission also demonstrated a strong focus on sustainability, alignment with best practice and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and an integrated multidisciplinary approach that enables a small team to achieve significant outcomes for communities. Whilst some examples relied heavily on a limited number of flagship projects, the overall entry presented a compelling case for a consultancy delivering tangible benefits for clients, communities, and the environment through thoughtful, people-focused planning.
Congratulations to WWA.
