Brett Leahy

Executive Director of Environment and Communities at Enfield Council

 

Since joining Enfield in July 2022 as Director of Planning and Growth and later stepping into Strategic Director of Planning, Growth and Infrastructure in October 2024, Brett has played a pivotal role in shaping the borough's development strategy. In his current executive role, he oversees planning, highways, customer services, community hubs, parks, libraries, leisure, culture, and waste services. Brett brings extensive experience from previous roles at Redbridge and Milton Keynes councils, with expertise in Planning and Building Control. He also serves as trustee of the Enterprise Cooperative Trust, supporting education initiatives for young people in Enfield.
