Join the RTPI NE Young Planners for a relaxed and engaging lunchtime session exploring the Housing Standardisation exhibition at the Farrell Centre.
What to expect:
We will be joined by exhibition curators, Prof. Sam Jacoby (RCA) and Dr Dhruv Sookhoo (Manchester School of Architecture (MMU)) for a guided tour of the exhibition which explores the themes surrounding housing standardisation both internationally and locally in the North East, with a focus on affordable housing.
The tour will be followed by an informal question and answer session with Dhruv and Sam, who have both played key roles in the research behind the exhibition. This is a chance to delve deeper into the ideas, discuss current opportunities and challenges in housing design, and share your own perspectives.
What you'll gain:
- Stay current with the latest new approaches and explore best practice on this important topic
- Get valuable insights into this research
- Share your questions and join meaningful discussions with peers and experts
This event is eligible for up to 1.5 hours of CPD and covers the following subjects from the core CPD framework:
