Join RTPI Scotland for their 2026 ceremony for the Awards for Planning Excellence! We will be celebrating the best in planning, and highlighting some of the amazing projects that are currently taking place across Scotland.
This year, the ceremony will take place at Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock. The ceremony proper will begin at 6pm, but guests can arrive from 5:30pm to enjoy drinks and canapes, and to connect with fellow planners and nominees.
The ceremony will last approximately 1 hour, after which there will be further opportunity to network and relax.
Please note that this event is invite only and this link will have been sent to you in order for you to book. Shortlisted entries will be able to bring a maximum of 3 from their teams (with the exception of the Young Planner category, which will allow for a single place).
If booking for more than one person in your shortlisted team, please specify the name of each person coming, and their organisation. Please also make sure to include the email address of the person attending in each separate booking, so that they receive a conformation email from our booking system.
Getting there
By train: there are regular trains to Greenock from Glasgow Central. The Beacon Arts centre is around a 6 minute walk from Greenock station, right on the waterfront.
By car: Greenock can be reached from central Glasgow via the Great Western Road or via the M8. Car parking is free for customers at the centre, and spaces for Blue Badge holders are located near the main entrance.
