RTPI London Young Planners Football Tournament
The much-anticipated RTPI London Tournament returns for 2026, bringing together planning and built environment professionals for an evening of friendly competition, networking and team spirit.
Teams will compete for a range of awards, including:
- Best save
- Best goal
- Golden boot
- Player of the tournament
Tickets include:
- The football game
- Winners' cup and finalist medals
- BBQ and networking after
What you'll gain:
- Connect with planning and built environment professionals from across the region in a relaxed, informal setting
- Strengthen relationships with colleagues and expand your professional network
- Take part in a fun and inclusive team-based activity that promotes wellbeing and collaboration

Teams should consist of 7-8 players working in planning or a related built environment profession. We welcome teams of all compositions, including all-male, all-female and mixed teams.
Getting to the venue
Powerleague Shoreditch is located on Braithwaite Street, off Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6GJ, in the heart of East London, directly beside Shoreditch High Street Station.
By train/Overground: Shoreditch High Street Station is right outside the venue entrance. Liverpool Street Station is around a 15-minute walk away, while Old Street Station is approximately 14 minutes on foot.
By Underground: Aldgate East Underground Station is around a 10-minute walk from the venue, with excellent connections across London.
By bus: Several bus routes stop within a few minutes' walk of the venue, including routes 8, 26, 35, 47, 78, 135, 149, 205, 242, 388, as well as a number of night bus services.
By car: Please note that there is no on-site parking. Several public car parks are available nearby, although we recommend travelling by public transport where possible due to the venue's central location.
By taxi: Taxis and ride-share services can drop you off directly outside the venue on Braithwaite Street.
Before you set off, it's worth checking for any travel updates, such as roadworks, rail engineering works or public transport disruptions that may affect your journey.
