RTPI North East Young Planners are once again teaming up with RICS Matrics for an informal, fun-filled evening—perfect for catching up with familiar faces and making new connections.

What to expect:

Join early-career planners and surveyors from across the North East for a relaxed social event designed to strengthen collaboration and grow your professional network in a friendly, laid-back setting.

This event is ideal for early-career professionals working in planning and surveying—come along, unwind, and make the most of a summer evening in great company.

Your ticket includes a welcome drink plus a delicious BBQ, with vegan and vegetarian options available.

Getting to the venue

• Walking (from city centre) - Around 10-15 minutes walk from Newcastle Central Station.Head west along Westgate Road, then turn onto Winchester Terrace / Summerhill area

• Several buses run along Westgate Road, including services from the city centre and surrounding areas

• Train - Nearest station: Newcastle Central Station

•  Driving - Easily accessible from A186 (Westgate Road). Parking - limited on-street parking  nearby (check restrictions).
