RTPI London annual summit 2023

RTPI London is pleased to announce the London annual summit will be held in Canada Water and will explore lessons from LDDC's 40-year history and the recent "Docklands 2.0" announcement by DLUHC. Hosted at Canada Water Theatre, SE16 on 26 October 2023. During the day we will discuss the challenges London faces today and will relate these to topics such as social value, transport, design, and economic development. You will have the opportunity to listen to a wide range of speakers (listed below), join our interactive workshop and experience the development first-hand on one of our tours.

The day starts with ‘The London Docklands Story’ hearing from speakers who had key roles in the original redevelopment in the 1980s. We will then break into interactive sessions to cover topics such as ‘Rethinking regeneration: The role of social value’, ‘Rethinking Transport’ and ‘Preserving Heritage through design: Docklands case study’. This is followed by a discussion on the evolution of the docklands and the opportunity to join a walking tour.

Find the full programme here.

Throughout the day we are giving you the opportunity to book an appointment for a 1-2-1 CV clinic with our resident experts KDH Associates. This is a great opportunity to ask about your CV, interview tips and any other questions you may have…and it’s all free with your summit ticket.

Be sure to book your slot with Kirsty – her diary is filling up fast.

Afterwards, unwind and relax from your day’s learning and join us for some food and beverages from 5pm to 8pm at the Decathlon events space.

All this is included in your summit ticket price…which is amazing! We would like to thank our sponsor KDH Associates for enabling us to organise such an interesting and fun day – all in the name of RTPI CPD.

For those who cannot make the summit:

We have you covered. Starting from as little as £6, you can purchase a ticket for the  Summit Drinks Reception where there will be networking, drinks, games, and a range of canapes.

We look forward to seeing you there.
