This in-person event will cover all routes to submitting your application to become a Chartered member of the RTPI via the Assessment of Professional Competence. Whether you are aiming for the Licentiate route (L-APC, for those who have a fully RTPI accredited degree), the Associate route (A-APC, for those who don’t have a fully accredited qualification), or the Experienced Practitioner route (EP-APC, for experienced planners, including those who gained qualifications and experience outside the UK), our speakers will describe what’s involved in preparing an application, what you need to include and how to present it.

It is also a great opportunity to ask questions and to meet others preparing their submissions.

Claire Pegg MRTPI MRICS - Claire is a dual chartered planner and surveyor and works as an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, leading their north west town planning service. She qualified as a chartered town planner under the Licentiate route in 2015, and has been an APC assessor for the RTPI since 2019.

Joanne Harding MRTPI - Joanne is an experienced policy planner with almost 20 years in the profession, she currently works for the Home Builders Federation (HBF) as their planning manager for the North of England.
