This session will cover all routes to submitting your application to become a Chartered member of the RTPI via the Assessment of Professional Competence. Whether you are aiming for the Licentiate route (L-APC, for those who have a fully RTPI accredited degree), the Associate route (A-APC, for those who don’t have a fully accredited qualification), or the Experienced Practitioner route (EP-APC, for experienced planners, including those who gained qualifications and experience outside the UK), our speakers will describe what’s involved in preparing an application, what you need to include and how to present it.

It is also a great opportunity to ask questions and to listen to those of others preparing their submissions.

Speaker - Maria Dunn MRTPI - Maria is a chartered planner and works at Birmingham City Council. She has been an APC assessor for the RTPI since 2019.

RTPI West Midlands Young Planners who have recently become chartered will be on hand to discuss their experiences of different routes and answer your questions.

Why attend?

Whatever stage you are at, this event will provide you with essential guidance on achieving success in your submission.

Planning and built environment professionals are all welcome, as are mentors.
