This webinar is brought to you by RTPI South West as part of the RTPI Online event Series

The webinar will discuss dementia and neurodiversity* with personal accounts of people living with dementia or a neurodivergent condition. It will consider how this can impact day to day life with a focus on how the design of built environment can affect their ability to navigate homes and moving around the community and town centres etc. To help put some concepts into planning practice, we also hear from a case study on a project in the South West.

*Neurodiversity is the diversity of human minds - it’s about thinking, learning and communicating differently. Neurodiversity in town planning asks us to think about things in a different way.
