A Senior Development Manager with in the Strategic Development team at Sunderland City Council, Darren is currently delivering a diverse programme of infrastructure based projects that will see Sunderland transformed by 2035.

Darren’s background is in Civil Engineering, with more than 30 years’ experience working in public and private sectors. He has delivered an extensive portfolio of brownfield construction, engineering, transport and regeneration projects from inception to handover and is currently working across a number of infrastructure projects in Sunderland City centre.
