We have developed specialised training for planning professionals, and those who aspire to work in the in planning sector.

Our training goes through a rigorous design and development process to ensure that it achieves our high standard of educational value. It is relevant to current and anticipated industry practice.

Our CPD Masterclass programme is delivered by our hand-picked team of planning sector leaders to direct your personal and professional development, and keep you up-to-date with industry best practice.

The RTPI is modernising its internal operation. As part of this process, we are switching to a new learning management system to be able to serve the CPD training needs of our growing membership across the UK and internationally.

Currently we are working on the technical configuration and developing new eLearning modules on various topics for this new platform. Therefore, we are temporarily pausing our eLearning service until February 2026.

In the meantime, webinars will be still available for you on a range of topics. 

Candidates applying to become chartered planners will have continuous access to the ‘Introduction to Ethics’ and ‘How to write my PDP’ modules on our website.
