Vanessa Harrison

Vanessa is an urban planner and currently works in the Greater London Authority's Transport Team where she leads on Active Travel. She has experience spanning major urban developments, policy and strategy. In 2023, she was awarded an RTPI Practitioner Research Fund grant to investigate how participatory budgeting - a democratic process where citizens directly decide how public money is spent - could help build a fairer, more inclusive transport system.
