Dr Guibo Sun is a lecturer in Urban Planning at the University of Manchester. His research examines major urban infrastructure and their social and health outcomes, spanning planning, land policy, transportation, and public health. His research has been recognised through several awards, including the RTPI Early Career Academic Award (2019), RTPI Commendation Awards for Research Excellence (2021), RTPI Tony Crook Award (2025, co-authored), and Lincoln Institute International Fellowship (2023). His teaching focuses on Infrastructure Planning and Neighbourhood Planning in England.
