This award celebrates outstanding plan-making practice. An up-to-date, evidence-based and ambitious adopted plan is the cornerstone of an effective plan-led system.

The judges' comments: OPDC created a positive plan to encourage diverse and dynamic spaces. They demonstrated great teamwork and leadership and an extremely inclusive consultation process. Judges were particularly impressed by the plan’s sustainability and its impact on green infrastructure.
