An overview of careers fair activities

These careers fair resources include a variety of activities to choose from. These activities can be delivered in isolation or you can use a combination of activities. These activities are designed to be a starting point and they can be adapted to fit any local context.

There are three different activities:

  1. Closed question
  2. Open question
  3. Image

Links to these activities can be found below. They include everything you need to carry out the activity as well as numerous sizes and versions of the activity so you can choose what is best for you and for the equipment you have. The resources can be printed or displayed on a screen.

These activities are very versatile and could also be used in different settings such as in a classroom or a school assembly.

Closed question activity

This activity is a question for students to think about. The question has a correct numerical answer.

This activity can be done in several ways. It can be used as a prompt for discussion or as a ‘guess how many sweets in the jar’ style activity where the students write their name next to an answer and then a prize is given to the correct answer.
