RTPI Nominations and Elections 2026
As a member-led organisation, our members bring their experience, skills, ideas and passions to governance roles right across the institute.
If you have ever considered getting more involved with the RTPI, 2027 would be a great year to do it. Be part of what happens next.
There are a wide variety of governance roles available from 1 January 2027, including:
- Vice President
- Trustees
- Members of the General Assembly
- Roles on the committees and boards of our nations and regions

Self-nominations will open on 19 August 2026 and members will be sent links to the online self-nomination forms nearer the time.
Elections for any contested positions will then take place between 28 September and 16 October 2026 and the elections results will be announced on this page at the end of October 2026.
