If you have ever considered getting more involved with the RTPI, 2027 would be a great year to do it. Be part of what happens next.
I'd say think about stepping forward and giving back. I guarantee you will find volunteering rewarding. For me representing the profession as President has been the highlight of my career.

Self-nominations
There are a wide variety of governance roles available from 1 January 2027, including:
- Vice President
- Trustees, including Young Planner Trustee
- Members of the General Assembly
- Roles on the committees and boards of our nations and regions
Self-nominations will open on 19 August and close on 16 September 2026. Members will be sent the online self-nomination form in August.

Voting closes on 16 October 2026.
