Finance Committee
RTPI Subcommittee
The Finance Committee:
- is responsible to the Board of Trustees for monitoring and planning the institutes financial position and financial strategy.
- ensures that the Board of Trustees discharges its financial responsibilities correctly and that the institute remains financially viable
- scrutinises the annual budget and operational plans
- reviews management accounts against budgets and operational plans
- receives reports from the institute's investment advisors and monitors the performance of its investment managers and investments against the investment policy and strategy
- alongside the Membership and Ethics Committee, considers proposals for changes to the membership subscription for recommendation to the Board
- Reviews proposals for all major projects and reserves funding and receives updates on the status of projects funded by reserves.
