Lester Hillman, in collaboration with RTPI London, is delighted to announce the upcoming Pied Piper of Hamelin walking tour for this year.

On July 18th, we will commemorate 50 years since RTPI London first walked the newly completed Regent's Canal towpath from King's Cross to Regent's Park. This route, which received a Civic Trust Award, was led by Lester Hillman in 1974, who played a pivotal role in Camden's planning and development efforts from 1973 onwards.

This tour presents a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Pied Piper of Hamelin day, exploring the evolution of town planning and urban environmental health over the past seven centuries in the context of King's Cross.

The meeting point for the evening will be York Way Regent's Canal Bridge, King's Cross. The walk is expected to last for 90 minutes, concluding at Camden Lock.

Lester Hillman along with RTPI London is pleased to announce this year's Pied Piper of Hamelin walking tour.
