Our regional committees

Our regional committees play a vital role in supporting the work of the RTPI at a local level.

We have two committees in each of our nine English Regions:

  • Regional Management Boards (RMBs) oversee a programme of regional activity through the preparation, monitoring and delivery of the Regional Business Plan.
  • Our Regional Activities Committees (RACs) help to deliver the plan.  Members of the RAC will get involved in a range of activities – all of which are member led, and designed to support members locally.  Typically, this involves organising CPD and social programmes, writing blogs and newsletters, supporting our awards and educational outreach as well as other activities.

Our committees are supported by RTPI Regional Coordinators – who act as a key contact for members and volunteers alike.

Thinking of joining a committee?

Each year we elect new members to our committees.  This year we will be holding a series of ‘drop-in sessions’ for those interested in finding out what it’s like to be part of one of our committees – ahead of our nominations process opening in September.

We are a friendly group – and newcomers are very welcome.   We meet in a range of locations, and usually offer a ‘hybrid’ option for those that cannot travel.

Keen to find out more?  Then join us at one of our drop-in sessions.
