Search for recruitment agencies in the larger cities (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney). They are generally keen to talk to and advise qualified UK planners.
APA and AICP
American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) oversees the recognised qualification for planners. American Planning Association (APA) promotes and defends planning.

US Embassy in the UK
UK planners may experience difficulties in finding a job and obtaining a visas in the USA.
