How to apply

To apply for Learning Partner status you need to submit documentation to show that your organisation meets four key commitments:

  1. Promoting Professional Development Activity 
  2. Identifying, Monitoring and Reviewing Professional Development Activity
  3. Supporting Professional Development Activity
  4. Embracing Diversity and Equal Opportunities

Many organisations will already have excellent training and development policies and practice in place to be able to meet the standard. If you think your organisation meets the standard you just need to demonstrate this by submitting different types of evidence.

If your organisation does not yet have sufficient policies and practices in place, you may wish to use the criteria to develop more supportive practices to be able to meet the standard.

When you apply to become a Learning Partner, you pay the annual fee which covers your assessment and your learning partner fee for that year. Please arrange payment with the team who can be contacted at learning.partners@rtpi.org.uk
