In 2014, our L-APC assessors were asked to nominate the best L-APC submissions of the year. The nominated submissions were then sent to the APC Advisory Panel for final judging. Three candidates were awarded APC Commendation for 2014 and they have provided their top tips for the L-APC on their profile pages:
Top tips of 2014 include:
- Reading the Guidance (particularly the competency descriptors) more than once.
- Being disciplined - keep your log book up to date and cross-reference it in your submission.
- Clearly explaining your role in projects and the thinking behind your decisions.
- Managing your time so you leave enough time for carefully proof reading your submission.
Please note: To stay fit for purpose, L-APC requirements do change over time. For the most up to date advice please always refer to the L-APC Guidance on the Licenitate APC webpage. Candidate details provided here are current at time of L-APC submission in 2014.
