Last year we highlighted the role of UK planners working abroad. This year we've followed on from that with Planning is Global 2 which showcases the exceptional work of planners working internationally.
We've produced a series of case studies highlighting the benefits of RTPI membership to a diverse group of planning professionals from around the world. Professionals like Matt Lally, Director of Cities, Planning & Design at Arup, who describes membership as 'a passport' that's helping him to achieve his vision of a career that combines UK and International opportunities. Another professional, Lili Abou Hamad, Senior Project Manager at PwC Middle East, attributes being part of a global network of over 27,000 members and more than 100 years of history as helping to increase the trust of clients and employers in her and the profession.
Our International Strategy is committed to promoting the value of RTPI membership internationally to professionals like Matt and Lili and all those we have featured in Planning is Global 2. We hope that the case studies we have shared will not only inspire more planners to join our global network, but will also encourage people into a profession where you really can work around the world and make a difference.
