Our Regional Management Board are delighted to offer an annual student prize to Newcastle University’s Planning students. The prize is awarded for the most outstanidng piece of work which has a North East focus. The worked is judged by the lecturers at the University and the prize is awarded to undergraduates in June and postgraduates iin October. The prize is received either by an individual student or a group of students who have worked together on a project.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2020 Outstanding Student Award (Undergraduate and PG including Stage 4 Mplan students)
James Halls, Olivia Price, Jacob Reed, Harriet Whalley (Their project examined place-based revival in Sunderland and a strategy to rebrand the city as a leisure location.
Dianne Odede, Yidan Chen, Rahima Ali, Maryam and Neha Panjwani (The students produced a very good report on Gateshead for the Spatial Strategies module)
