Housing shows no sign of falling off the top of the UK Government’s agenda and is likely to remain a priority for the Planning system in 2012. This session will provide an update on the contemporary issues relevant to planning for housing as they’ve developed during 2020. We are expecting several changes across the North West as strategic plans for Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City Region progress. We also expect to examine the impacts of the standardised housing need assessments and the Housing Delivery Test and how these are effecting decision making.
