This workshop will be led by Neil Homer from London based consultancy Oneill Homer.
Neighbourhood planning was introduced by the Localism Act 2011, it gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.
Oneill Homer is the market leader in providing independent professional planning support to Town and Parish Councils and Neighbourhood Forums preparing Neighbourhood Plans. Since 2012 Oneill Homer have helped 127 projects across 47 different local planning authorities.
The session will include a brief overview of the neighbourhood plan process, and use a local case study to discuss and investigate interactions between stakeholders in the process.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided, and there will be an opportunity for networking after the workshop.
