This session will explore the way the future design of buildings, spaces and places can and should feature in plan-based policymaking.

Using a series of innovative case studies, featuring examples of how design has been incorporated into planning at a range of spatial scales, the session will review best practice in the ways in which good design is an integral part of sustainable place making and planning.
