Whilst planning becomes more urban focussed it can be easy to forget that 21% of England’s population live in a rural area. Planning in the rural areas is constantly needing to adapt to ever changing environmental and economic pressures. The future of agricultural support is uncertain in a post Brexit economy which may give rise to increased pressure to diversify and assistance needs to be given to rural communities to enable them not only to survive but thrive.
This day will explore how planing can aid the rural area to be successful in its own right.
The event will finish with a networking drinks reception kindly sponsored by PFK Planning.
