Historic buildings provide a foundation for the regeneration of many of our towns and cities. Regenerating these buildings can reinforce a sense of community, make an important contribution to the local economy and act as a catalyst for improvements to the wider area’’.  This seminar will explore the value of conservation-led regeneration, identifying the constraints and how they have been overcome by exploring case studies including Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

This will be a morning seminar followed by lunch with an optional afternoon walking tour in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
