Planning Law Update (2) NW

Is the “Broken System” Being Fixed?

Monday, 14 October 2019 at 9:30AM - 4:30PM
Innside, 1 First St, Manchester M15, UK
RTPI North West

This event will look at the legal and policy changes over the last 18 months and consider if the “broken” planning system is working to deliver sustainable development and the homes that the country needs? What are the emerging themes and issues, and is the plan led system under NPPF2 working for developers, local authorities and landowners? Speakers will consider recent case law and decisions relating to difficult areas including housing delivery, the changing character of town centres, viability, and delivery of infrastructure in an increasingly uncertain world.
