This WM RTPI CPD is suitable for all of those working or with an interest in the built environment sector, particularly planners, landscape architects, surveyors, architects and other consultants and local authority workers. It will cover the basics of what is Urban Design and Masterplanning, how can we better understand place-making and how can we make a greater contribution to creating great places to live, work and play. It will explain the approach to the design process and the factors that affect design development and resultant proposals. It will explain how planning and design can combine to deliver higher quality places.
