Phil Prentice, Chief Officer at Scotland’s Town Partnership, has 25 years of experience in economic development and will discuss the growing recognition of the importance of our town centres and present the national perspective.

Phil will also discuss Improvement Districts and their ability to help town centres. Hazel Cross is part of the Town Centre Development Unit, Fife Council and was a key player in the regeneration of Lochgelly, which won the Most Improved Town Centre Award 2016.

Hazel will talk about the approach taken to Lochgelly and how it led to improvements throughout the town centre. She will also discuss current projects she is leading within town centres in Fife.

Hazel and Phil will hold a Q&A session after the presentations.
