We are delighted to announce that the East of England Young Planners are hosting an evening reception with RTPI President, Ian Tant, on Thursday 30 May in the Edmund Room upstairs at the Cathedral Centre at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1LS.

The evening, which is open to all members, will include talks from the RTPI President, Ian Tant and other key speakers from the region (to be announced). An informal drinks reception will follow, giving members an opportunity to meet the President and network with others over a glass of wine.

EoE Young Planners members are invited to continue the evening with a Mini Brewery tour, nibbles and networking at the Old Cannon Brewery from 7pm – see here to reserve your place.

RTPI members are also welcome to join us for an earlier guided walking tour around the area of the former Abbey of St Edmund (meet at the Abbey Gate on Angel Hill at 2.00 pm).  There will also be presentations and discussions with the Abbey of St Edmund Heritage Partnership about the conservation and interpretation of the Abbey from about 3.30pm (join these events in the Edmund Room upstairs at the Cathedral Centre).

For more information, please contact Stacey Bunn RTPI East of England regional Coordinator or Adam Banham, Chair of the RTPI East of England Regional Management Board, who are leading the visit.
