Ensuring the ethical behaviour of its’ Members is one of the RTPI's priorities. It forms a critical element of the Assessment of Professional Competence and is of vital importance throughout our working lives.  Led by a double act of the Chair of the Institute’s Membership and Ethics Committee and its’ Ethics Champion this free breakfast seminar is hosted by RTPI NE and Newcastle University.  The seminar will introduce the Institute’s new on-line training module on the subject and explore issues such as ethical workplace challenges, conflicts of interest, equality and diversity, professional competency, gifts and hospitality and use of social media.  Places are limited so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

The morning speakers are;  Craig McLaren, Director of Scotland and Ireland, Royal Town Planning Institute and Colin Haylock, Planning and Design and Chair of the RTPI Membership & Ethics.
