Striking a balance between acceptable developer returns and delivering community benefits is a fundamental challenge for planning. This seminar will explore this conflict and how it can be managed effectively using a range of planning tools. The seminar will provide an overview of the recent revisions to the NPPF and associated planning practice guidance in relation to viability assessments and consider what this means in practice for both developers and local authorities going forward; examining the practical issues that can arise including those surrounding the required disclosure of viability reports.
This full day CPD event will feature insights from industry leaders and an interactive workshop.
