This walking tour will explore the imaginings of Kings Cross through literaty references.

These will  include:

  • 1984
  • Frankenstein
  • Day of the Triffids
  • and other fictional works...

Our guide, Lester Hillman, has worked on the recently transformed urban quarter of Kings Cross for over five decades.  And now Lester would like to take you on a tour which will conjure up phantom aerodromes, ghost bridges, echoes of humour and vanished film sets.

Walk lasts approximately 90 mins, no charge, meet at Russell Square tube station. Finish Granary Square convenient for onward travel and amenities.
