Don't miss this exciting opporunity to hear from Cliff Hughes, a high-level Planning Inspector for more than 25 years.

During his career, Cliff conducted inquiries and hearings into many types of case, including major appeals, called-in applications, development plans, and CPOs.

Larger cases Cliff dealt with include the Toyota factory near Derby, Liverpool One, Port Wakefield, the City of London Development Plan, the development plans for Bradford, Harrogate and the Cambridge area, and the Lower Don Valley CPO in Sheffield.

His talk will be in two parts. Firstly, he will give advice on how expert witnesses should conduct themselves in appeal and development plan procedures, especially inquiries. Secondly, he will speak about how Inspectors approach their work. There will be time for questions.

Following the talk there will be an opportunity for informal networking accompanied by food and drink.
