Sirius’s deep Woodsmith Mine near Whitby for polyhalite will create thousands of jobs. But should it be in a National Park? Permission has been given for fracking at Kirby Misperton, but it is highly controversial and has not started yet. For each activity the developer’s case will be examined against emerging planning policies.

The full programme is available here.

*Please note, this event is open to planners and other professionals working in the built-environment only.

This conference could count as appropriate CPD for RTPI members - remember to keep a record of your learning, including your learning outcomes, in your CPD record
