Course Aim

Do you have a Local Plan in place? Are you in the process of putting one together? This key briefing will provide an engaging day of valuable knowledge and experience. MHCLG will provide insights into the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the implications for plan making in England.

Through a combination of input from expert speakers and discussion, you will:

  • Keep up to date on guidance for local plan preparation and key topics
  • Learn how to ensure Local Plans are deliverable
  • Hear how Neighbourhood Plans and Local Plans interrelate
  • Explore housing delivery – how will we meet housing targets?

To be eligible for the Independent Consultant rate, you need to be member of the Independent Consultants Network (ICN).
