East of England Young Planners invite you to a free Ecology CPD session, kindly provided by Hannah Bilston of WSP.

Hannah Bilston, Associate Ecologist at WSPs Cambridge office will be giving a 45 minute presentation on ecological considerations in the planning process.  The presentation will discuss protected species and habitat surveying and mitigation and also provide an update on the new options for European Protected Species licensing in England. An update on the Essex Coastal Recreational Avoidance and Mitigation Strategy (RAMS) will also be given. The presentation will conclude with providing some practical advice on ensuring ecology is not a reason for delays in the planning process. After the presentation there will be time for a Q&A session.

Please arrive from 6.00pm for a 6.15pm start. We welcome you to stay after the presentation for informal networking drinks.
