Planning Aid England Volunteer Event - NE

Informal evening

Thursday, 11 October 2018 at 5:30PM - 7:30PM
The Cycle Hub, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 1BU
RTPI North East

RTPI Planning Aid helps people affected by planning proposals who may need help in understanding, responding or getting involved. Volunteers are a vital part of how Planning Aid works.

We would like to invite existing planning aid volunteers and anyone who may be interested in learning about planning aid volunteering along to this event.

The event will give an insight into what is happening with Planning Aid locally and nationally and what opportunities are available in the region for volunteers.  This may be helping with online enquiries, or through helping local groups and individuals over the phone or face-to-face.

This will be an informal evening with refreshments and catering available on arrival, followed by two or three short talks from experienced volunteers. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and network. So come along and see how you could build valuable experience through volunteering at the same time as helping people who may be more mystified by the planning system than we are!

Hope to see you there.
