The South-East Scotland Chapter is delighted to invite you to a presentation by Dan Jackman, Assistant Chief Reporter from the Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA).

The Planning and Environmental Appeals Division of the Scottish Government plays an important role in the Planning Appeals system in Scotland and is responsible for the administration of over 20 different types of casework. Dan has worked with the Planning and Environment Appeals Division since 2007 and will present on the appeals process and the work of the DPEA from a Reporter’s perspective. He will also offer some reflections on previous debates about the role and function of the appeal system in the light of the current Planning Bill. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

Light refreshments will be provided.
