Tour of the Rochdale Canal with the Canal & River Trust and RTPI NW Young Planners

Join the RTPI Young Planners for an exclusive insight into the role of the Canal & River Trust, where you will meet the Trust’s Spatial Planning and Urban Design teams and discover their work in supporting the network and its role as a statutory consultee.

The walking tour will take in a stretch of the Rochdale Canal from Rain Bar off Great Bridgewater Street through to the Piccadilly Basin, discussing the good, the bad and the ugly along the way.

After the tour, drinks and canapés will be served at the BDP offices on Ducie Street where the Trust will host a presentation on the work of the Trust and its role as a statutory consultee.

Following the presentation, there will be the chance for questions and for delegates to experience some of the Trusts waterways via 3D VR goggles.

Tickets are free but limited - book now to reserve your place!
