University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TT
This very special event coincides with the visit of the Commonwealth Heads of Government to the UK and is being held in Birmingham.
It's a must for all those who want to explore how the skills of planners are being used to help tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges including:
- rapid urbanisation
- climate change
We will draw on the work of the University of Birmingham, the Commonwealth Association of Planners (CAP) and leading planning professionals using case study examples including from South Africa, Sierra Leone, the Caribbean and elsewhere to show how planners are having increasing global influence.
- Cliff Hague, Emeritus Professor, Heriot-Watt University
- John Archer, One World Link
- Clive Harridge, Commonwealth Association of Planners / Wood plc
The event includes lunch at the University and provides incredible value for money.
