Wessex Water is a regional water and sewerage business serving 2.8 million customers across the south west of England including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire.

We would like to invite you to meet and listen to employees from Wessex Water explain how their networks operate and how they plan to provide capacity to accommodate new development.

The event will include  presentations from the planning liaison manager and colleagues on capacity planning drawing on local examples including engagement on Local Plan Consultations and the current Frome Valley engineering project.  The Frome Valley sewer relief scheme is a multi million project designed to provide additional capacity for the new developments in North Bristol while significantly reducing the risk of sewer flooding in the area.

A tour of Wessex Water’s Control Centre will also enable guests to understand the nature of the resources and assets maintained by Wessex Water; the day to day issues and how they are resolved by the people tasked to ensure the safe operation of our waste and water supply services.

Refreshments and networking opportunities will be available!
